A modern town with a vast amount of industries, Norwell, Massachusetts offers everything residents could need. With a modest population and a warm community spirit, Norwell is a friendly town for a visit or to live in. The town changed its name from Satuit to Norwell in 1888, after Henry Norwell, a dry goods merchant who provided funds for the maintenance of the town roads.
