The Berkshires of Western MASouth Hadley is a historical town located in the Pioneer Valley of Massachusetts. In South Hadley Center, also called The Village Commons, there are plenty of small places for dinner, shopping, and exploring.

The Firehouse Museum, located on North Main Street, is operated by the South Hadley Historical Society. The oldest continuously operating institution of higher education for women, Mount Holyoke College, was founded in 1837 and can be found in South Hadley.
